Today is a sad day... I BROKE MY TRIPOD. 😠So I'm here to share with you guys a TRIPOD DIY fix that actually WORKS.
- Step 1 Prepare a clean work surface. Work in a well ventilated room to avoid the toxic fumes from melted plastic and metal. Wear heat-resistant gloves
- Step 2 Take your J-B Weld Clear SuperWeld Glue
- Step 3 Turn on your soldering iron
- Step 4 Move the iron back and forth over the crack to melt the edges and bind the wire to the plastic.
- Step 5 Once you have soldered the entire length of the crack you're done. Wait still the plastic is cooled it only requires a few seconds.

and glue the broken pieces together. Make sure you apply enough glue to both halves of the plastic pieces. Then wait ten seconds. 
. Take a piece of metal wire place it over the where the plastic cracked in half. We are going to reinforce the pieces with metal so that they do not come apart. I used an old wire from a speaker. SEE VIDEO BELOW.I decided to not look for parts on eBay and just buy two new tripods. The two that I am look at is below.
